When I became a mom, I wanted flexibility so I could be present for my kids. I also wanted to be able to show up as a good friend, daughter and sister too. 

At the time, I was working in corporate sales - caught up in the daily grind - and bouncing between coffee shops to get work done. That's when I noticed my neighborhood was a coffee desert, and I decided to do something about it.

Starting Rose & Lois felt like the perfect blend: combining my passion for people with my background in beverage science. 

It’s been an incredible opportunity to create a business that builds coffee and community.

Before launching Rose & Lois, I earned my food science degree from Purdue and dove straight into the world of flavor development. 

I started in a coffee and tea lab, working alongside beverage flavorists to create everything from caffeinated teas to carbonated drinks and retorted coffee beverages. I even spent a summer interning in Bremen, Germany at a beverage lab.

Later, I moved into sales, managing a territory that included Starbucks. 

My background gave me insight into how flavor is built, how it travels from concept to cup and how it could be experienced. 

At Rose & Lois, flavor isn't a guess - it's our passion, and we're proud to share it with you.

I'm a food scientist by education & coffee lover by passion.

From Lab to Latte

Rose & Lois was officially founded

December 31, 2018

We sold our first cup at Noblesville Farmers Market (shoutout to the cart days!)

May 4, 2019

Upgraded to our first mobile espresso bar

October 2019

Opened our brick-and-mortar coffee shop

March 2020

Sold the shop to go fully mobile and bring great coffee straight to the people

October 2024

Now, with our mobile espresso bars, I get to do what I love most: serve handcrafted drinks while building real connections in the community. 

Whether it's energizing a school morning or celebrating a Saturday wedding, we bring exceptional coffee and espresso to where you work, play and like to enjoy a beverage or two.
